Perth Mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Perth and the second oldest mosque in Australia. It is open for the daily prayer times in Perth for both men and women and holds a variety of social events during Islamic events. Perth Mosque is actively contributing towards Islamic education through hosting classes on Quran studies, Islamic History, and Arabic language. The purpose of this mosque isn't only to serve the Muslim community but also to promote interfaith engagement. Throughout the year, Perth Mosque hosts social gatherings for the community to foster a sense of belonging and unity among the Muslim community as well as non-Muslim communities.
Also known as Southern River Mosque, Masjid Ibrahim offers educational programs for people of all ages and has been running a maktab alongside the mosque. Open during the prayer times in Perth, Masjid Ibrahim also offers a unique Islamic studies professional certificate program. Located by the beach, Ar-rukun Mosque dates back to 1998, when it was started as an association to host congregational prayers for the Muslim community in the Rockingham area. It was only during the sultanate rule in Oman that the mosque was renovated for the Sultan's visit. Ar-rukun Mosque facilitates daily, weekly, and monthly activities for people of all ages. They host daily lessons and monthly tazkirah that allow people to come together and know better about their religion and its practices. Other than the daily prayers and lessons, Ar-rukun mosques provide funeral services to help fulfill the Islamic rites. The mosque also offers a free membership that allows you to give a greater input towards the mosque as well as to serve the community.
