'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (and we rescued him) i.e. lot (and his household) his daughters: za'ura and raytha, (save his wife, who was of those who stayed behind) and was therefore destroyed.
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : so we delivered him and his family, except his wife: she was of those who stayed behind, who remained in the chastisement.
