'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (are the people of the townships) the people of mecca (then secure from the coming of our wrath) our punishment, (upon them as a night-raid while they sleep) and are completely unaware of it?
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : do the people of the towns, the deniers, feel secure from the coming of our might, our chastisement, upon them at night while they are sleeping?, unaware of it?
