٢ - ٱلْبَقَرَة

2 - Al-Baqara

اَلَاۗ اِنَّھُمْ ھُمُ الْمُفْسِدُوْنَ وَلٰكِنْ لَّا يَشْعُرُوْنَ۝۱۲
Ala innahum humu almufsidoona walakin la yashAAuroona

Tafseer

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī

تفسير : (they are indeed the mischief mongers) by being a hindrance. (but they perceive not): the followers do not know that their leaders mislead them.

Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī

تفسير : truly (a-lā, ‘truly’, is for alerting), intended emphatically, they are the agents of corruption, but they perceive, this, not.
