And that it may warn those who say: "God has begotten a son."

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (and to warn) and so that muhammad (pbuh) warns by means of the qur'an (those who say: allah hath chosen a son) i.e. the jews, christians and idolaters,
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : and to warn those, from among the disbelievers, who say, ‘god has taken a son’.
