20 - Ta-Ha

قَالَ يٰہٰرُوْنُ مَا مَنَعَكَ اِذْ رَاَيْتَہُمْ ضَلُّوْۗا۝۹۲ۙ

Qala ya haroonu ma manaAAaka ith raaytahum dalloo

Tafseer

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī

تفسير : when moses returned, (he said) to aaron: (o aaron! what held thee back when thou didst see them gone astray) from the right way,

Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī

تفسير : he, moses, said, upon his return, ‘o aaron, what held you back when you saw them going astray, by worshipping it,
