'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (how many a community that dealt unjustly) whose people were disbelievers and idolaters (have we shattered) have we destroyed, (and raised up) and created (after them) after their destruction (another folk) who lived in their habitations!
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : and how many did we destroy of towns — meaning its inhabitants — that had been wrongdoing, disbelieving, and brought forth another people after it!
