They will say: "To God." Say: "Then why do you not bethink yourselves?"

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (they will say: unto allah. say) to them, o muhammad: (will ye not then remember) will you not then take heed and obey allah?
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : they will say, ‘to god’. say, to them: ‘will you not then remember?’ (tadhakkarūna, the second tā’ [of tatadhakkarūna] has been assimilated with the dhāl) will you [not then] be admonished and so realise that the one who has the power to originate creation also has the power to resurrect after death?
