Verse. 2770

٢٣ - ٱلْمُؤْمِنُون

23 - Al-Mu'minoon

وَقُلْ رَّبِّ اَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ ہَمَزٰتِ الشَّيٰطِيْنِ۝۹۷ۙ

Waqul rabbi aAAoothu bika min hamazati alshshayateeni

Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils.

Tafseer

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī

تفسير : (and say: my lord! i seek refuge in thee from suggestions) from the insinuations (of the evil ones) that bewitch humans,

Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī

تفسير : and say: ‘my lord, i seek protection in you from the promptings of devils, [from] their [evil] suggestions, which they whisper.
