Tafseer
'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (and (all) that she was wont to worship) the sun (instead of allah hindered her) solomon stopped her; it is also said that this means: allah stopped her, (for she came of disbelieving folk) her folk were zoroastrians.
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : and what she worshipped besides god, that is, other than him, barred her, from the worship of god, for she belonged to disbelieving folk’.
