٢٩ - ٱلْعَنْكَبُوت

29 - Al-Ankabut

كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَاۗىِٕقَۃُ الْمَوْتِ۝۰ۣ ثُمَّ اِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُوْنَ۝۵۷
Kullu nafsin thaiqatu almawti thumma ilayna turjaAAoona

Tafseer

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī

تفسير : (every soul) every creature possessed of a breath (will taste of death. then unto us you will be returned) after death and you will be rewarded according to your works.

Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī

تفسير : every soul shall taste death. then to us you shall be returned (turja‘ūna; or yurja‘ūna, ‘they shall be returned’) after resurrection.
