تفسير : (these are revelations of the wise scripture) this surah consists of verses of the qur'an which explain the lawful and the unlawful, the commands and prohibitions,
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : those, namely, these signs, are the signs of the wise book, the qur’ān, the one containing wisdom (the genitive annexation [āyātu’l-kitābi’l-hakīm] has the [partitive] meaning of min, ‘from’);
