But those who try to subvert Our signs will be given over to punishment

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (and as for those who strive against) as for those who deny (our revelations) muhammad (pbuh) and the qur'an, (challenging) they will not escape our chastisement, (they will be brought to the doom) to the fire.
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : and those who strive against our signs, namely, the qur’ān, [seeking] to invalidate it, supposing [us] to be inomnipotent — or [supposing] that they can elude us — those, they will be arraigned into the chastisement.
