Look, then how was the end of those who had been warned,

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (then see) o muhammad (the nature of the consequence for) the requital of (those warned) of those who were warned by the messenger, but chose to disbelieve, how we destroyed them,
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : so behold how was the consequence for them who were warned, namely, the disbelievers: in other words the sequel for them was [that they ended up in] the chastisement;
