Tafseer
'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (and saying: be not proud against allah) nor lie against him. (lo! i bring you a clear warrant) a clear proof and plain warrant.
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : and, ‘do not rebel, [do not] try to act strong, against god, by neglecting obedience to him. lo! i bring you a clear warrant’, [clear] proof of [the sincerity of] my mission — but they threatened to stone him to death.
