'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : there is) in our life (naught but our first death, and we shall not be raised again) and we shall not be brought back to life after we die.
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : ‘it, that death after which there is life, is nothing more than our first death, that is, when they were sperm-drops, and we shall not be resurrected, [we shall not be] raised alive after the second one.
