It is He who created you, then why do you not affirm the truth?

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (we created you) o people of mecca. (will ye then admit the truth) will you then believe in the messenger?
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : we created you, we brought you into existence from nothing. will you not then affirm [this] truth?, in resurrection? for the one able to create [from nothing] is also able to repeat [this creation].
