تفسير : (but when they saw it) when they saw the fields burned down, (they said: lo! we are in error!) we have taken a wrong turn; thinking that they were not their fields
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : but when they saw it, blackened and charred, they said, ‘assuredly we have strayed!’, from it, that is to say: this is not the one. then when they recognised it, they said:
