٧٧ - ٱلْمُرْسَلَات

77 - Al-Mursalat

كُلُوْا وَاشْرَبُوْا ہَنِيْۗــــــًٔۢـا بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُوْنَ۝۴۳
Kuloo waishraboo haneean bima kuntum taAAmaloona

Tafseer

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī

تفسير : allah will say to them (eat) of the fruits, (drink) from the rivers (and welcome) fearing no sickness or death, (o ye blessed, in return for what ye did) and said of good in the life of the world.

Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī

تفسير : ‘eat and drink in [full] enjoyment (hanī’an is a circumstantial qualifier, in other words, mutahanni’īna) for what you used to do’, in the way of obedience.
