That this is indeed the word of an honoured Messenger,

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (that this) i.e. the qur'an (is in truth the word of an honoured messenger) allah says: it is brought down by gabriel to a messenger who is honoured by allah, i.e. muhammad (pbuh)
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : truly this, qur’ān, is the word of a messenger [who is] noble, in the sight of god, exalted be he — this being [the messenger] gabriel (it [qawl, ‘word’] has been annexed to him, because he descends with it),
