Verse. 5886

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī

تفسير : (and attentive) and it obeys and listens (to her lord in fear) and it befits her to do so,

Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī

تفسير : and heeds, gives ear to and, in rending itself asunder, obeys, its lord as it should, that is, as its duty is to heed and obey,

Sahl al-Tustari

تفسير : and heeds its lord as it should. that is, it hearkens to its lord and responds by performing his command, as it is obliged to do.
