And his riches will not avail him when he falls headlong (into the Abyss).

Tafseer
'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (his riches) which he amasses in the life of the world (will not save him when he perisheth) when he dies; and it is also said this means: when he is cast in the fire.
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : and his wealth shall not (mā is or negation) avail him when he perishes, in the fire.
Sahl al-Tustari
تفسير : and his wealth shall not avail him when he perishes.in the fire.
