The Ukrainian Muslim population is mostly concentrated in certain regions such as Kherson, Crimea, Luhansk, and Donetsk. The capital city Kyiv, also has the Ar-Rahma Mosque, which is the main mosque for the region. It can hold up to 3,000 people when needed. The area of this building spans 3,200 square meters. Its decorations include some volcanic tuff, which was imported from Azerbaijan. The carpets in the prayer hall came from Türkiye and spanned over a thousand square meters.
