Serving the Muslim community for over three decades, Masjid Aysha is a lovely place for congregational worship. Prayers are scheduled accurately, and the mosque experiences significant gatherings for Friday prayers, since prayer facilities are available in multiple languages to accommodate everyone. Toilets and ablution areas are available along with space for parking and a separate prayer hall for women. Unfortunately, the mosque does not have an entrance that will accommodate wheelchairs, an issue that can be rectified easily. As the name suggests, Negashi Moské was established through the efforts of the Ethiopian Muslim community in Sundbyberg. However, Muslims from all over the world, belonging to any denomination, are welcome here. The mosque has a peaceful and calm ambiance, suitable for deep contemplation and prayer.
It is housed in an unassuming building that is clean and spacious on the inside. Attention to detail was paid, since the mosque has all the basic utilities, like bathrooms and a wudu area, as well as a parking lot and access for wheelchair users.

Fatih Moské is also accessible to Muslims living in Solna. It is a small mosque which provides a place of worship for Muslims in and around Sveavägen. A prominent Shia mosque and Islamic center not just in Sweden but in all of Scandinavia, Imam Ali Islamic Centre was established in 1997. The mosque is full of activity throughout the week, offering daily congregational prayers and Friday prayers. On weekends, the center offers Quran and Islamic knowledge classes for young people. Special mourning ceremonies are held during the month of Muharram. Fully equipped with all facilities and designed meticulously to enable anyone to access it, the mosque is a beacon of guidance for Muslims in Stockholm.

While the construction of Fittja Mosque started in 1999, it wasn’t completed till 2006. It took a long time for the construction, but the time and effort put in were worth it. The mosque is breathtakingly beautiful, inspired by Ottoman architecture. It is the only mosque in Sweden to be built with a central dome and minaret from the foundation. The mosque has three floors and contains a conference hall, a library, toilets, a kitchen, an administrative office, classrooms, and a living room.

The lack of mosques in Solna is a challenge for Muslims living here. It is a concerning development that the two mosques that did exist here were permanently closed down. Still, whenever there are hardships, Allah (SWT) provides ease.
