وَ لَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَۃٌ وِّزْرَ اُخْرٰى۰ۭ وَاِنْ تَدْعُ مُثْقَلَۃٌ اِلٰى حِمْلِہَا لَا يُحْمَلْ مِنْہُ شَيْءٌ وَّلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبٰى۰ۭ اِنَّمَا تُنْذِرُ الَّذِيْنَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّہُمْ بِالْغَيْبِ وَاَقَامُوا الصَّلٰوۃَ۰ۭ وَمَنْ تَزَكّٰى فَاِنَّمَا يَتَزَكّٰى لِنَفْسِہٖ۰ۭ وَاِلَى اللہِ الْمَصِيْرُ۱۸
Wala taziru waziratun wizra okhra wain tadAAu muthqalatun ila himliha la yuhmal minhu shayon walaw kana tha qurba innama tunthiru allatheena yakhshawna rabbahum bialghaybi waaqamoo alssalata waman tazakka fainnama yatazakka linafsihi waila Allahi almaseeru
No one who carries a burden bears another's load; and even if the burdened soul cry out for help none will carry the least of its burden, however close a relative it may be. You can only warn those who fear their Lord in secret and fulfil their devotional obligations. Whoever grows in goodness does so for himself. To God is the journeying back.
