16 - An-Nahl

قُلْ نَزَّلَہٗ رُوْحُ الْقُدُسِ مِنْ رَّبِّكَ بِالْحَقِّ لِيُثَبِّتَ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَہُدًى وَّبُشْرٰى لِلْمُسْلِمِيْنَ۝۱۰۲
Qul nazzalahu roohu alqudusi min rabbika bialhaqqi liyuthabbita allatheena amanoo wahudan wabushra lilmuslimeena

You say: "It has been sent by divine grace from your Lord with truth to strengthen those who believe, and as guidance and good news for those who have submitted (to God)."

Tafseer

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī

تفسير : (say) to them, o muhammad: (the holy spirit) the holy gabriel (hath revealed it) i.e. the qur'an (from thy lord) o muhammad (with truth) with the abrogating and the abrogated, (that it may confirm (the faith of)) that it may gladden and set at rest the hearts of (those who believe) in muhammad (pbuh) and in the qur'an, (and as guidance) from error (and good tidings for those who have surrendered (to allah)) that they will have paradise.

Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī

تفسير : say, to them: ‘the holy spirit, gabriel, has revealed it from your lord with truth (bi’l-haqq, this is semantically connected to nazzala, ‘he [gabriel] has revealed [it]’) to confirm [the faith of] those who believe, by their believing in it [when it is revealed], and as guidance and good tidings for those who have submitted [to god]’.
