تفسير : (that we may show thee (some) of our greater portents) our greater signs,
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : that we may show you, thereby, when you do this [as described above] in order to manifest it, of our greatest signs, the sign that is the greatest proof of [the truth of] your mission [from god]: and should he want it to be restored to its former state, he would thrust it into his armpit, as has been mentioned, and [then] bring it out.
