20 - Ta-Ha

قَالَ عِلْمُہَا عِنْدَ رَبِّيْ فِيْ كِتٰبٍ۝۰ۚ لَا يَضِلُّ رَبِّيْ وَلَا يَنْسَى۝۵۲ۡ
Qala AAilmuha AAinda rabbee fee kitabin la yadillu rabbee wala yansa

Ahmed Ali

(Moses) replied: "Knowledge of that is with my Lord (recorded) in the Book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets."

Tafseer

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī

تفسير : (he said) moses said: (the knowledge thereof) the knowledge of their destruction (is with my lord) written down (in a record) i.e. the guarded tablet. (my lord neither erreth) he does not make mistakes nor is he oblivious to their matter (nor forgetteth) their matter and leave them unpunished,

Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī

تفسير : said he, moses, ‘the knowledge thereof, that is, the knowledge of their [otherworldly] status, is, preserved, with my lord, in a book, namely, the preserved tablet (al-lawh al-mahfūz), and he shall requite them in accordance with it on the day of resurrection. my lord does not err, he is [never] absent from anything, nor does he, my lord, forget, anything.
