Tafseer
'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (they said) the magicians said to moses: (o moses! either throw first) either you throw your staff to the ground first, (or let us be the first to throw?)
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : they said, ‘o moses, you choose: either cast, your staff first, or we shall be the first to cast’, their staff.
