٢٣ - ٱلْمُؤْمِنُون

23 - Al-Mu'minoon

اَمْ لَمْ يَعْرِفُوْا رَسُوْلَہُمْ فَہُمْ لَہٗ مُنْكِرُوْنَ۝۶۹ۡ

Am lam yaAArifoo rasoolahum fahum lahu munkiroona

Or did they not recognise their apostle, and rejected him?

Tafseer

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī

تفسير : or know they not their messenger) the lineage of their messenger, (and so reject him) and so deny him?

Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī

تفسير : or is it that they do not recognise their [own] messenger and so they reject him?
