'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (and lo, it is) i.e. the description of the qur'an and muhammad (pbuh) (in the scriptures of the men of old) is written in the scriptures of the prophets who came before you.
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : and truly it, the allusion to the qur’ān [that would be] revealed to muhammad (s), is in the scriptures, the books, of the ancients, such as the torah and the gospel.
