وَلَقَدْ اٰتَيْنَا لُقْمٰنَ الْحِكْمَۃَ اَنِ اشْكُرْ لِلہِ۰ۭ وَمَنْ يَّشْكُرْ فَاِنَّمَا يَشْكُرُ لِنَفْسِہٖ۰ۚ وَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَاِنَّ اللہَ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيْدٌ۱۲
Walaqad atayna luqmana alhikmata ani oshkur lillahi waman yashkur fainnama yashkuru linafsihi waman kafara fainna Allaha ghaniyyun hameedun
We bestowed wisdom on Luqman that he may be grateful to God. Whosoever is grateful is so for his own good, and whoever is ungrateful (should remember) that God is above all concern, worthy of praise.
