To God belongs what is in the heavens and the earth. Verily He is all-sufficient, worthy of praise.

Tafseer
'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (unto allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens) of creation (and the earth. allah, he is the absolute) he is free of need for his creation, (the owner of praise) he who is praised in his acts.
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : to god belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth, as possessions, creatures and servants, and so none other than him deserves to be worshipped in them. indeed god, he is the independent, [without need] of his creatures, the praised, in his actions.
