Tafseer
'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (and follow) o muhammad (that which is inspired in thee from your lord) act according to what you have been commanded in the qur'an. (lo! allah is aware of what ye do) whether you honour your pledge or break it.
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : and follow what is revealed to you from your lord, namely, the qur’ān. truly god is aware of what you do (ta‘malūna; a variant reading has ya‘malūna, ‘[what] they do’).
