'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (it was but one shout) from gabriel; gabriel took hold of the sides of the door and cried one single cry, (and lo! they were extinct) they were dead without any motion in them.
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : it, their punishment, was but one cry — gabriel gave a cry to them — and lo! they were extinguished, silent, dead.
