Or do they say: "He has fabricated it?" In fact, they will never believe.

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (or say they) indeed the disbelievers of mecca say: (he hath invented it?) muhammad lies and has invented the qur'an. (nay, but they will not believe) in muhammad (pbuh) and the qur'an as in allah's pre-eternal knowledge!
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : or do they say, ‘he has improvised it?’, he has concocted the qur’ān. he has not concocted it; rather they do not believe, out of arrogance. if they [continue to] say that he has concocted it:
