٦٧ - ٱلْمُلْك

67 - Al-Mulk

اَلَا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ۝۰ۭ وَہُوَاللَّطِيْفُ الْخَبِيْرُ۝۱۴ۧ
Ala yaAAlamu man khalaqa wahuwa allateefu alkhabeeru

Can He who has created not know (His creation)? He is all-penetrating, all-aware.

Tafseer

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī

تفسير : (should he not know) people's secrets (what he created) he who created that which is secret? (and he is the subtile) his subtle knowledge penetrates into that which is in the hearts, (the aware) of what is in the hearts of good and evil; it is also said: his knowledge penetrates all things whether they are good or evil and he is aware of them.

Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī

تفسير : will he who has created not know?, what you keep secret, in other words: will his knowledge of [things] be precluded by such [secret speech]? and he is the subtle, in his knowledge, the aware, therein.

Sahl al-Tustari

تفسير : would he who has created not know…?does the one who created the heart not know what he deposited within it, [whether it be] the attestation of his oneness (tawḥīd) or denial (juḥūd). he is the subtle, in his knowledge of the secrets concealed within the core of hearts (lubb al-qulūb), just as the prophet <img border="0" src="images/salatonmassenger.jpg" width="24" height="22"> said, ‘truly within hearts there is a concealed secret (sirr maknūn) pertaining to knowledge, which belongs to god, exalted is he’; the aware — he informs you of what is [hidden for] you in the unseen (fī ghaybik).his words, exalted is he:
