٦٧ - ٱلْمُلْك

67 - Al-Mulk

ہُوَالَّذِيْ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْاَرْضَ ذَلُوْلًا فَامْشُوْا فِيْ مَنَاكِبِہَا وَكُلُوْا مِنْ رِّزْقِہٖ۝۰ۭ وَاِلَيْہِ النُّشُوْرُ۝۱۵
Huwa allathee jaAAala lakumu alarda thaloolan faimshoo fee manakibiha wakuloo min rizqihi wailayhi alnnushooru

It is He who made the earth subservient to you that you may travel all around it, and eat of things He has provided; and to Him will be your resurrection.

Tafseer

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī

تفسير : (he it is who hath made the earth subservient unto you) he made it subservient by means of the mountains, (so walk in the paths) and it is also said: in the mountains, hills and valleys (thereof and eat of his providence) and you eat of his sustenance. (and unto him will be the resurrection (of the dead)) and unto him is the return after death.

Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī

تفسير : it is he who made the earth tractable for you, easy for you to walk on; so walk in its flanks and eat of his provision, that has been created for you; and to him is the resurrection, from the graves for the requital.

Sahl al-Tustari

تفسير : it is he who has made the earth tractable for you…he said:god, exalted is he, created the souls (anfūs) in a humble state. whoever abases (adhalla) his self (nafs) by opposing it, actually saves it from temptations, tribulations and trials. however, whoeverdebases (adhalla) his self and follows it, will be brought to humiliation and destroyed by it.his words, mighty and majestic is he:
