٦٩ - ٱلْحَاقَّة

69 - Al-Haqqa

وَاَمَّا عَادٌ فَاُہْلِكُوْا بِرِيْحٍ صَرْصَرٍ عَاتِيَۃٍ۝۶ۙ
Waamma AAadun faohlikoo bireehin sarsarin AAatiyatin

Tafseer

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī

تفسير : (and as for 'aad) the people of hud, (they were destroyed by a fierce roaring wind) cold wind that disobeyed and rebelled against its wardens,

Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī

تفسير : and as for ‘Ād, they were destroyed by a deafening, intensely clamorous, violent wind, [that was] powerful and severe [in its assault] upon ‘Ād, despite their power and might.
