Verse. 5742

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī

تفسير : (and after that he spread the earth) even then he spread it on the water; it is also said: 2,000 years after that he spread it on the water,

Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī

تفسير : and after that he spread out the earth: he made it flat, for it had been created before the heaven, but without having been spread out;
