Better is the Night of Determination than a thousand months.

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : he then explained its merit by saying: (the night of power is better than a thousand months) he says: works in this night are better than works performed in 1,000 months which do not include such a night.
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : the night of ordainment is better than a thousand months, in which there is no night of ordainment, for a righteous deed on that night is better than one [performed] for a thousand months without it.
