١٠٧ - ٱلْمَاعُون

107 - Al-Maa'oun

فَذٰلِكَ الَّذِيْ يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيْمَ۝۲ۙ
Fathalika allathee yaduAAAAu alyateema

Tafseer

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī

تفسير : (that is he who repelleth the orphan) from his own right; and it is also said this means: he denies the orphan his right,

Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī

تفسير : that is he (read an implied huwa after the fā’ [of fa-dhālika]) who repels the orphan, that is to say, [who] violently drives him away from what is his due,

Sahl al-Tustari

تفسير : that is he who repels the orphan,that is, he turns him away from that which is his right.
