'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (know that allah is severe in punishment) towards him who declares lawful that which allah has made unlawful, (but that allah (also) is forgiving) he overlooks mistakes, (merciful) towards the person who repents.
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : know that god is severe in punishment, of his enemies, and that god is forgiving, to his friends, merciful, to them.
