'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (he hath no partner. this am i commanded, and i am first of those who surrender (unto him)) i am the first of those who sincerely worship him and confess his divine oneness.
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : no associate has he, in these things. and to this, affirmation of the oneness [of god], i have been commanded, and i am the first of those who submit’, from among this community.
