الَّذِيْۗ اَنْقَضَ ظَہْرَكَ۝۳ۙ
Allathee anqada thahraka

Tafseer

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī

تفسير : (which weighed down thy back?) it is also said: prophethood weighed down your back; and the prophet (pbuh) said: "yes, indeed!"

Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī

تفسير : that which weighed down your back? — this is similar to where god says: that god may forgive you what is past of your sin [q. 48:2].
