٥٥ - ٱلرَّحْمَٰن

55 - Ar-Rahman

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۗءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ۝۲۵ۧ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

Ahmed Ali

How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny?

25

كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْہَا فَانٍ۝۲۶ۚۖ
Kullu man AAalayha fanin

Ahmed Ali

All that is on the earth is passing,

26

وَّيَبْقٰى وَجْہُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الْجَلٰلِ وَالْاِكْرَامِ۝۲۷ۚ
Wayabqa wajhu rabbika thoo aljalali waalikrami

English

Ahmed Ali

But abiding is the glory of your Lord, full of majesty and beneficence.

27

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۗءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ۝۲۸
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

Ahmed Ali

How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?

28

يَسْـَٔـلُہٗ مَنْ فِي السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ۝۰ۭ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ ہُوَفِيْ شَاْنٍ۝۲۹ۚ
Yasaluhu man fee alssamawati waalardi kulla yawmin huwa fee shanin

Ahmed Ali

All those there are in the heavens and the earth turn to Him with solicitation, intent on His purpose all the time.

29

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۗءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ۝۳۰
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?

30

سَنَفْرُغُ لَكُمْ اَيُّہَا الثَّقَلٰنِ۝۳۱ۚ
Sanafrughu lakum ayyuha alththaqalani

Ahmed Ali

We shall soon be free to turn to you, O weary caravans,

31

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۗءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ۝۳۲
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

Ahmed Ali

How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?

32

يٰمَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْاِنْسِ اِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ اَنْ تَنْفُذُوْا مِنْ اَقْطَارِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ فَانْفُذُوْا۝۰ۭ لَا تَنْفُذُوْنَ اِلَّا بِسُلْطٰنٍ۝۳۳ۚ
Ya maAAshara aljinni waalinsi ini istataAAtum an tanfuthoo min aqtari alssamawati waalardi faonfuthoo la tanfuthoona illa bisultanin

Ahmed Ali

O society of jinns and men, cross the bounds of the heavens and the earth if you have the ability, then pass beyond them; but you cannot unless you acquire the law.

33

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۗءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ۝۳۴
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
