١٦ - ٱلنَّحْل

16 - An-Nahl

وَاِنَّ لَكُمْ فِي الْاَنْعَامِ لَعِبْرَۃً۝۰ۭ نُسْقِيْكُمْ مِّمَّا فِيْ بُطُوْنِہٖ مِنْۢ بَيْنِ فَرْثٍ وَّدَمٍ لَّبَنًا خَالِصًا سَاۗىِٕغًا لِّلشّٰرِبِيْنَ۝۶۶
Wainna lakum fee alanAAami laAAibratan nusqeekum mimma fee butoonihi min bayni farthin wadamin labanan khalisan saighan lilshsharibeena

English

Ahmed Ali

And surely in cattle there is a lesson for you: We give you a drink from the extract of food in their bellies and blood-purest milk so delicious to drink;

66

وَمِنْ ثَمَرٰتِ النَّخِيْلِ وَالْاَعْنَابِ تَتَّخِذُوْنَ مِنْہُ سَكَرًا وَّرِزْقًا حَسَـنًا۝۰ۭ اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَۃً لِّقَوْمٍ يَّعْقِلُوْنَ۝۶۷
Wamin thamarati alnnakheeli waalaAAnabi tattakhithoona minhu sakaran warizqan hasanan inna fee thalika laayatan liqawmin yaAAqiloona

English

Ahmed Ali

And in fruits of the date-palm and the vine, from which you obtain inebriating drinks and excellent food. In this indeed are signs for those who understand.

67

وَاَوْحٰى رَبُّكَ اِلَى النَّحْلِ اَنِ اتَّخِذِيْ مِنَ الْجِبَالِ بُيُوْتًا وَّمِنَ الشَّجَرِ وَمِمَّا يَعْرِشُوْنَ۝۶۸ۙ
Waawha rabbuka ila alnnahli ani ittakhithee mina aljibali buyootan wamina alshshajari wamimma yaAArishoona

Your Lord predisposed the bees to make their hives in mountains, trees and trellices,

68

ثُمَّ كُلِيْ مِنْ كُلِّ الثَّمَرٰتِ فَاسْلُــكِيْ سُـبُلَ رَبِّكِ ذُلُلًا۝۰ۭ يَخْرُجُ مِنْۢ بُطُوْنِہَا شَرَابٌ مُّخْتَلِفٌ اَلْوَانُہٗ فِيْہِ شِفَاۗءٌ لِّلنَّاسِ۝۰ۭ اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَۃً لِّقَوْمٍ يَّتَفَكَّرُوْنَ۝۶۹
Thumma kulee min kulli alththamarati faoslukee subula rabbiki thululan yakhruju min butooniha sharabun mukhtalifun alwanuhu feehi shifaon lilnnasi inna fee thalika laayatan liqawmin yatafakkaroona

Ahmed Ali

And suck from all fruits and flit about the unrestricted paths of their Lord. A drink of various hues comes out of their bellies which contains medicine for men. In this is a sign for those who reflect.

69

وَاللہُ خَلَقَكُمْ ثُمَّ يَتَوَفّٰىكُمْ۝۰ۣۙ وَمِنْكُمْ مَّنْ يُّرَدُّ اِلٰۗى اَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ لِكَيْ لَا يَعْلَمَ بَعْدَ عِلْمٍ شَـيْــــًٔـا۝۰ۭ اِنَّ اللہَ عَلِيْمٌ قَدِيْرٌ۝۷۰ۧ
WaAllahu khalaqakum thumma yatawaffakum waminkum man yuraddu ila arthali alAAumuri likay la yaAAlama baAAda AAilmin shayan inna Allaha AAaleemun qadeerun

Ahmed Ali

It is God who creates you, then makes you die; and some reach the age of dotage when they forget what they had known before. God is indeed all-knowing and all-powerful.
