Tooba Masjid is renowned for being a single dome supported by a low surrounding wall, constructed without a single pillar throughout its vast expanse. It was designed by Pakistani architect Babar Hamid Chauhan and engineer Zaheer Haider Naqvi, coming to its completion in 1969. 3. New Memon Masjid

 

New Memon mosque is considered among the oldest contemporary mosques. It was constructed in 1949, after the Independence of Pakistan, by the immigrated community of Memons. Located near a busy market, the purpose of its construction was to accommodate nearby Muslim traders. The mosque’s architecture is reminiscent of the Mughal period, with a red exterior and unique domes. It has a capacity for about 10,000 worshippers, with several facilities available.
