١٥ - ٱلْحِجْر

15 - Al-Hijr

اِنَّ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ فِيْ جَنّٰتٍ وَّعُيُوْنٍ۝۴۵ۭ
Inna almuttaqeena fee jannatin waAAuyoonin

Ahmed Ali

Verily those who keep away from evil and follow the straight path shall be in the midst of gardens and springs of water.

45

اُدْخُلُوْہَا بِسَلٰمٍ اٰمِنِيْنَ۝۴۶
Odkhulooha bisalamin amineena

English

Ahmed Ali

"Enter in peace and tranquility," (they will be told).

46

وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِيْ صُدُوْرِہِمْ مِّنْ غِلٍّ اِخْوَانًا عَلٰي سُرُرٍ مُّتَقٰبِلِيْنَ۝۴۷
WanazaAAna ma fee sudoorihim min ghillin ikhwanan AAala sururin mutaqabileena

English

Ahmed Ali

We shall cast out any grudge they may have in their hearts. (There) they will sit on couches face to face like brothers together.

47

لَا يَمَسُّہُمْ فِيْہَا نَصَبٌ وَّمَا ہُمْ مِّنْہَا بِمُخْرَجِيْنَ۝۴۸
La yamassuhum feeha nasabun wama hum minha bimukhrajeena

Ahmed Ali

No weariness will come upon them, nor will they be sent away from there.

48

نَبِّئْ عِبَادِيْۗ اَنِّىْۗ اَنَا الْغَفُوْرُ الرَّحِيْمُ۝۴۹ۙ
Nabbi AAibadee annee ana alghafooru alrraheemu

Ahmed Ali

Announce to My creatures that I am indeed forgiving and kind,

49

وَاَنَّ عَذَابِيْ ہُوَالْعَذَابُ الْاَلِيْمُ۝۵۰
Wa anna AAathabee huwa alAAathabu alaleemu

Ahmed Ali

But My punishment is surely a painful one.

50

وَنَبِّئْہُمْ عَنْ ضَيْفِ اِبْرٰہِيْمَ۝۵۱ۘ
Wanabbihum AAan dayfi ibraheema

Ahmed Ali

Inform them about the matter of Abraham's guests.

51

اِذْ دَخَلُوْا عَلَيْہِ فَقَالُوْا سَلٰمًا۝۰ۭ قَالَ اِنَّا مِنْكُمْ وَجِلُوْنَ۝۵۲
Ith dakhaloo AAalayhi faqaloo salaman qala inna minkum wajiloona

Ahmed Ali

When they came to him and said: "Peace," he answered: "Truly we are afraid of you."

52

قَالُوْا لَا تَوْجَلْ اِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلٰمٍ عَلِيْمٍ۝۵۳
Qaloo la tawjal inna nubashshiruka bighulamin AAaleemin

Ahmed Ali

"Have no fear," they said. "We bring you news of a son full of wisdom."

53

قَالَ اَبَشَّرْتُمُوْنِيْ عَلٰۗي اَنْ مَّسَّنِيَ الْكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُوْنَ۝۵۴
Qala abashshartumoonee AAala an massaniya alkibaru fabima tubashshirooni

Ahmed Ali

"You bring me the good news now," he said, "when old age has come upon me. What good news are you giving me then?"
