Victoria is the beautiful capital of British Columbia. Its nickname, 'City of Gardens', shows how gorgeous the city is. It's one of the warmest and most vibrant cities in Canada, with a flourishing job market, great schools, and several enjoyable activities on offer. Whether you're an immigrant, a visitor, or were born here, Victoria is a lovely place to live in. Muslims make up about 5.2 percent of the population in Victoria, with more immigrants and students arriving each year.
Initially, the Muslims' collective prayers were limited to just the Jummah and Eid jama'ats. With time, the community grew so large that community halls and rented rooms were no longer viable. The need for a proper gathering center was evident, so the community started constructing mosques and Islamic centers. Fortunately, there are now quite a few functioning mosques in this amazing city. Read on to find one near you!

The Jame Masjid Rajpur seems to be a new addition to Victoria's mosque setup. There's not much information about it online, but it does provide a much-needed place for Muslims to pray. Knowing about this mosque and its location can help anyone stay punctual to the prayer times in Victoria, British Columbia. This mosque might still be in its early stages. It doesn't have a website or any apparent social media presence. It's also situated a bit further away from the main mosques of Victoria, British Columbia. There's a distance of around 17 to 18 km between the Jame masjid Rajpur and the Westshore Islamic Centre, Muslim Youth of Victoria, and the Dar Al-Ihsan Islamic Centre mosques. In this sense, this small masjid might be useful to Muslims who aren't close to the other options.
